Premier Dance Company offers Competition Dance. Acceptance and placement to competition teams are based on the discretion of the studio owner or teachers.

Mini Competition

Our Mini Competition dance classes are for those in Mini Group B (ages 7-8) who are interested in beginning competitive dance. We continue to focus on refining dance technique and skill level through repetition. Greater emphasis is put on individual strength and flexibility through progressions, combinations and conditioning and there is also greater emphasis put on group synchronization and timing. Each dance number is designed for competition.

Times are given to accepted students.

Senior Competition

Our Senior Competition dance classes are for teens who are interested in competitive dance. Our Senior Competition Dance Team was invited to nationals in 2018. At the competition level each dancer must already be a competent dancer, be flexible and show an ability to dance with a group with excellent synchronization and timing. Each dance number is designed for competition. These classes consist of tap, ballet, jazz and lyrical styles of dance.
